Warranty Policy

At Techy Moxy, we are committed to delivering high-quality used PCs, including laptops and desktops. Our comprehensive warranty policy is designed to ensure your satisfaction and to clarify the support we offer:

1. Warranty Coverage:

  • Duration: The typical warranty period for all used PCs (laptops and desktops) sold at Techy Moxy is 30 days, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

  • Scope: Our warranty covers both hardware and software components installed on the PC at the time of purchase.

2. Manufacturer Warranty:

  • Existing Manufacturer Warranty: Many of our products may still be covered by a manufacturer warranty. As Techy Moxy obtains products from various sources, including auctions and wholesale lots, we are not the original owners of these items.

  • Ownership Transfer: Techy Moxy is not able to assist with filing an ownership transfer with the manufacturer. However, customers may attempt to file a warranty claim directly with the manufacturer if they wish to pursue any remaining manufacturer warranty.

3. Warranty Claims and Repairs:

  • Initiating a Claim: If you experience hardware or software issues within the warranty period, please contact our support team at support@techymoxy.com to initiate a warranty claim.

  • Repair Process: We will provide a prepaid shipping label and instructions for returning the defective product. The repair process typically takes one week or less, plus shipping timeframes.

  • Parts Replacement: If parts need to be replaced, we will notify you via email with an estimated completion date for the warranty repair.

4. Exclusions and Limitations:

  • Modification and Disassembly: The warranty is void if the product’s internal components are replaced, upgraded, disassembled, or modified. Any such actions will nullify the warranty coverage.

  • Data Backup: When returning products for warranty service, please ensure you back up your data. We may reinstall the operating system during repairs, and Techy Moxy is not responsible for any data loss that may occur.

5. Battery Information:

  • Laptop Batteries: All laptops sold by Techy Moxy are tested for voltage and capacity. We only ship laptops with batteries that retain 75% or more of their original capacity, as measured under heavy stress tests. Laptops are expected to hold a charge for no less than 1 hour and 30 minutes.

6. Warranty Start Date:

  • Effective Date: The warranty begins on the date and time the product is delivered to the recipient’s address as indicated in the tracking number.

7. Post-Warranty Services:

  • Beyond Warranty: After the warranty period expires, consider using Techy Moxy Services for any repairs or upgrades needed for your product.
